Websites to Create Fun Learning Environments
Martyn Nayman
Participants will have a look at three websites in depth and use them to create their own games and quizzes. They will be shown shortcuts and then shown how to use them for assessment for learning in the classroom. Finally, participants will be shown how to embed them into blogs or sites meaning they can take away with them fully functioning educational games which can be immediately used in the classroom. |
Discovery Session
In this session I will briefly explain how educational games work in the classroom environment. I will then go on to demonstrate the capabilities of the 3 websites which we will look at further in the DEEP Dive.
Please take the time to watch at least the first video I have put on my http://naymandeeplearning.blogspot.com/
and feel free to have a look at the extremely basic games I have created as examples of all 3 sites capabilities.

DEEP Dive
This will be a hands on session. I will firstly show in detail exactly what each website can do. From here, participants will have the opportunity to create games for themselves and then we will see the best way to share them with their students. |
